grace upon grace, one blessing after another, all out of His fullness (John 1:16)
One of the big reasons I write is because I want to remember the treasures and grace God provides “out of His fullness.” Whether individual moments or days feel empty, full, or somewhere in between, God is continually providing with grace upon grace and blessing upon blessing.

Honestly that’s part of why I share about blog posts, podcasts, and other encouraging or thought-provoking messages from people around the Internet.

Happy Treasure Hunt Tuesday! This past week I heard a couple of different times about how our brains are more naturally prone to remember negative events or feelings rather than positive ones. A quick Google search provided much reinforcement, and just glancing through the keywords and opening sentences on the page stirred my heart even more deeply about the importance of intentionally looking for, giving thanks, and sharing the good stuff God provides in our lives.

In the middle of praying about circumstances on my heart, these words from the song “Oceans” by Hillsong UNITED rushed to the forefront of my mind. It’s probably the most-repeated lyric that somehow keeps finding its way to my prayer journal over the past several years.
